We've invested over $500 million in building a world class network which spans the country. Our network delivers coverage in 97% of places Kiwi's live and work. We are continually expanding our network to ensure we give our customers the best possible service. In areas that we don't yet reach, our customers roam on our national roaming partner at no extra cost.

Reliability

As the newest mobile network player in the market, we have taken a very systematic approach to the rollout of our network to ensure we get it right for our customers. We started with 2G, then later added 3G across our national network. This has included the installation of 3G at 900MHz across all of our sites which is providing a 'boosted' 3G service to many of our customers across the country. In addition to that, 4G is now live in parts of New Zealand, with work underway to bring 4G to other parts of the country in the near future.

Device Setup

The way you configure your device is very important to the mobile service you receive. To ensure you get the best network coverage, we recommend you set your 'Network' selection to 'Automatic' rather than it being locked to 2degrees. Also check that Network mode is on 'Auto' (LTE/GSM/WCDMA) to pick up the networks 2G, 3G or 4G signal. For help with your phone settings please visit our Mobile Settings page.
