What is an exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan?
Exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plans are Pay Monthly plans offered via a unique partnership between JB Hi-Fi and 2degrees. No Prepay plans are available via this partnership.
It offers you the reliability of the 2degrees network and a bonus JB Hi-Fi card to spend in-store and online at JB Hi-Fi.
How do I sign up for these plans?
You can sign up for these plans by walking into your nearest JB Hi-Fi store and talking to the staff who will help you get sorted onto this new plan.
Can I bring my existing 2degrees number to these plans?
Yes, you can. Once you’re in-store at JB Hi-Fi, the staff will be able to guide you through the process of switching your existing 2degrees Prepay or Pay Monthly plan over the new, exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan.
Can I switch to these plans if I’m on a Pay Monthly or Prepay plan with another provider?
Absolutely. Once you’re at any JB Hi-Fi store, you’ll need to provide your existing mobile account number. You should be able to find this on your latest mobile bill. As long as your current mobile number is active, the staff in-store should be able to process the request to transfer you over to the new, exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan.
Once the transfer has been completed, you’ll need to contact your old mobile provider and request them to stop billing you, since you are no longer using their network.
Will I need to get a new SIM card when I join these plans?
Yes, when you switch your existing mobile plan from another provider over to an exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan, you’ll receive a new SIM card. If you are an existing 2degrees customer, we’ll simply swap over your current plan to the new one with the SIM you already have from 2degrees. The staff in-store will then help swap your existing number from another provider over this new SIM card or get you set up with a brand-new mobile number.
How do I get a bonus JB Hi-Fi gift card?
The bonus gift card is only available to new customers signing up for an exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan. Once you sign up for these plans at any JB Hi-Fi store, you’ll automatically receive a JB Hi-Fi Gift Card to spend in-store or online at JB Hi-Fi. JB Hi-Fi Gift Cards are non-transferrable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash.
You’ll receive one gift card for each new, exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan you sign up for.
How will I know if I’m eligible for a bonus JB Hi-Fi gift card?
The JB Hi-Fi Gift Card is available only if you sign up for a new, exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan at any JB Hi-Fi store. The promo also applies if you are switching to an exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan from a Pay Monthly or Prepay plan with another provider.
The JB Hi-Fi Gift Card is not available if you are moving to the new, exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan from an existing 2degrees Pay Monthly or Prepay mobile plan.
What happens if I want to leave my new plan before my contract ends?
If you choose to cancel your exclusive JB Hi-Fi 2degrees Mobile Plan or move to a lower cost plan within 12 months, the value of the bonus JB Hi-Fi Gift Card you received is repayable on a pro-rated basis. Your gift card will also not be replaced with a gift card that applied to the lower cost or higher cost plan you moved to.
I don’t have a JB Hi-Fi store near me. Can I still sign up for these plans?
Yes, you can. But only those customers who sign up for these plans in a JB Hi-Fi store will receive a bonus JB Hi-Fi Gift Card. If you still want to sign up, without the bonus gift card offer, please call us.
