  1. These specific terms and conditions apply you if you have signed up to any Business Select Plan prior to 20 September 2017. These terms and conditions apply in addition to our standard Business Terms and Conditions and the Business Account Terms and Conditions and will prevail in the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and the Business Terms and Conditions or the Business Account Terms and Conditions.
  2. Capitalised terms not defined herein have the meaning given to them in the Business Terms and Conditions and the Business Account Terms and Conditions.
  3. The rates and conditions below apply when you use your Mobile Phone (or other device) in New Zealand only and have subscribed to a Business Select Plan.
  4. All prices exclude GST unless stated otherwise.
  5. Subject to these terms and conditions, each of your Team Members may sign up to one of the following Business Select Plans (Business Plans):

A Team Member may also sign up to a Business Link Plan in accordance with clauses 22 to 28.

Minutes

  1. Unless otherwise stated in these terms and conditions, Minutes are only valid for voice calls to any standard landline or mobile in New Zealand and Australia.
  2. Minutes under your Business Select Plan cannot be used to make calls to premium rate numbers (e.g. 018, 0900) or satellite phones.

Carryover Minutes

  1. Carryover Minutes allocated under a Business Select Plan will be pro-rated up to the Billing Date following activation of that Business Select Plan, and thereafter will be allocated on each Billing Date.
  2. If you do not use your full allocation of Carryover Minutes during your Billing month, your unused Carryover Minutes for that Billing month will be carried over to the following Billing month. Carryover Minutes (if not used) can be accrued for up to 12 months and will expire on the day prior to the first anniversary of the Billing Date on which these minutes were first allocated to you. During any Billing month, your accrued Carryover Minutes (if any) will always be used before any new allocation of Carryover Minutes for that Billing month.
  3. If a Team Member consumes all of their Carryover Minutes of their Business Select Plan while they are on a call, you will be charged the standard per minute rate for the remainder of the call and for any subsequent calls in accordance with our Pay Monthly and Business Standard Rates Terms and Conditions until further Carryover Minutes are allocated on your next Billing Date.
  4. All calls are rounded up to the nearest minute.

Unlimited Calls

  1. You will be charged a 0 cent per minute rate for all calls to any standard mobile or landline in New Zealand and Australia on each Billing Date for the term of your applicable Standard Business Plan provided you pay the applicable Plan Charge.

  2. Our Fair Use Policy applies to Unlimited Calls. For the avoidance of doubt, Unlimited Calls must be person to person use consistent with our estimate of reasonable use of this service (referencing standard and/or estimated customer profiles). We may take action if we consider use to be in breach of the Fair Use Policy. Please ensure that you have read and understood our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of the Business Terms and Conditions and is published by us at 2degreesmobile.co.nz/fairusepolicy.

NZ Data

  1. NZ Data can only be used in New Zealand.

  2. NZ Data allocation under a Business Select Plan will be pro-rated up to the Billing Date following activation of that Business Select Plan, and thereafter will be allocated on each Billing Date.

  3. If a Team Member does not use their full allocation of NZ Data during a Billing month, the Team Member’s unused NZ Data for that Billing month will be carried over to the following Billing month. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, this carry over NZ Data is referred to as “Carryover Data”. Carryover Data (if not used) can be accrued for up to 12 months and will expire on the day prior to the first anniversary of the Billing Date on which this NZ Data was first allocated. During any Billing month, the available Carryover Data (if any) will always be used before the NZ Data allocation for that Billing month.

  4. If a Team Members consumes all the NZ Data available under their Business Select Plan in any Billing month they will be required to purchase a Data Add On to be able to continue using data services until a new allocation of NZ Data is made under their Business Select Plan on your next Billing Date. You will be charged for any Data Add On purchased by a Team Member under their applicable Plan.

  5. Data usage per session is rounded up to the nearest 5.12KB increment. Minimum data usage per session of 20.48KB applies. 

Unlimited Text

  1. You will be charged at a 0 cent per text rate for all text messages sent to any standard mobile in New Zealand and Australia on each Billing Date for the term of your Business Select Plan provided you pay the applicable Plan Charge.

  2. Unlimited Text cannot be used for MMS or texts to premium rate numbers.

  3. Our Fair Use Policy applies to Unlimited Text. For the avoidance of doubt, Unlimited Text is only available for person to person use consistent with our estimate of reasonable use of this service (referencing standard and/or estimated customer profiles). We may take action if we consider your use to be in breach of the Fair Use Policy. Please ensure that you have read and understood our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of the Business Terms and Conditions and is published by us at 2degreesmobile.co.nz/fairusepolicy.

  1. In order to have a Business Link Plan on your Business Account, you must activate that Business Link Plan to Team Share services by connecting it to an active and eligible Business Select Plan (Team Share Plan), as advised by us from time to time.

  2. We will charge you $25 (incl. GST) each Billing month (or part month) for any Business Link Plan that is connected to a Team Share Plan under your Account for Team Share services.

  3. Our standard Sharing Terms and Conditions apply to the use of Team Share Services.

  4. You may have up to three (3) Business Link Plans connected to a Team Share Plan under your Business Account at any one time.

  5. We reserve the right to terminate any Business Link Plan under your Business Account that ceases to be connected to a Team Share Plan.

  6. You cannot activate a Business Link Plan on a 24 month term.

  7. A Business Link Plan does not include any minutes, text or data benefits. You will be charged our standard rates calling, texting or using data in New Zealand, international calling, and any rates that apply for overseas roaming. Our standard rates are published on our website at www.2degreesmobile.co.nz.

Free Calling Group

  1. Zero rated calls can be made between Team Members under the same Business Account (Free Calling Group) provided that the Plan Benefit of those Team Members includes a voice entitlement (e.g. an allocation of Minutes). Free Calling Group is applied at a Business Account level only. 

  2. For the avoidance of doubt, a Team Member’s Plan that is a Business Mobile Data Plan cannot be part of the Free Calling Group.

  3. Zero rated calling will not be available to a Team Member making calls to, or receiving calls from, another Team Member in the Free Calling Group, while the Team Member is roaming outside of New Zealand.

  4. We may suspend or bar your Free Calling Group if you have any outstanding Charges or any other overdue payment in respect of your Business Account.

  5. Our Fair Use Policy applies the Free Calling Group. We may take action if we consider use to be in breach of the Fair Use Policy. Please ensure that you have read and understood our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of the Business Terms and Conditions and is published by us at 2degreesmobile.co.nz/fairusepolicy.

Free Voicemail Calling 

  1. Business Select Team Members belonging to an eligible Business Select Plan ($45.83 and above) can make zero rated calls to Voicemail.

  2. Where a Business Select Plan under your Business Account does not include Free Voicemail Calling, calls to Voicemail will be charged the standard per minute rate for calls to Voicemail in accordance with our Pay Monthly and Business Standard Rates Terms and Conditions.

100MB International Roaming Data

  1. If the Business Select Plan under your Business Account includes 100MB International Roaming Data, on each Billing Date that Business Select Plan will be allocated 100MB of data that may be used for data roaming in selected countries as published on our website at www.2degreesmobile.co.nz.

  2. The 100MB International Roaming Data is valid one month and will expire on the day before your Billing Date.

  3. If a Team Member consumes all of their 100MB International Roaming Data allocation under their Business Select Plan in any month, you will be charged the out of bundle international roaming standard rate per MB in accordance with our Pay Monthly and Business Standard Rates Terms and Conditions until a new allocation of 100MB International Roaming Data is made on your next Billing Date.

  4. 100MB International Data usage per session is rounded up to the nearest 5.12KB increment. Minimum data usage per session of 20.48KB applies when data roaming in Australia, and minimum data usage per session of 10.24KB when data roaming in United States and United Kingdom.

Mobile calling in 10 selected countries

  1. If the Business Select Plan under your Business Account includes Mobile calling in 10 selected countries, zero rated calls can be made to standard mobiles in the 10 countries published by us on our website www.2degreesmobile.co.nz.

  2. Calls to premium rate numbers or other similar chargeable numbers (including satellite phones) in the applicable countries are excluded.

  3. Our Fair Use Policy applies to Mobile calling in 10 selected countries. For the avoidance of doubt, Mobile calling in the 10 selected countries must be person to person use consistent with our estimate of reasonable use of this service (referencing standard and/or estimated customer profiles). We may take action if we consider use to be in breach of the Fair Use Policy. Please ensure that you have read and understood our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of the Business Terms and Conditions and is published by us at 2degreesmobile.co.nz/fairusepolicy.

Landline calling in 30 selected countries

  1. If the Business Select Plan under your Business Account includes Landline calling in 30 selected countries, zero rated calls can be made to standard landlines in the 30 countries published by us on our website www.2degreesmobile.co.nz from time to time.

  2. Calls to premium rate numbers or other similar chargeable numbers (including satellite phones) in the applicable countries are excluded.

  3. Our Fair Use Policy applies to Landline calling in 30 selected countries. For the avoidance of doubt, Landline calling in the 30 selected countries must be person to person use consistent with our estimate of reasonable use of this service (referencing standard and/or estimated customer profiles). We may take action if we consider use to be in breach of the Fair Use Policy. Please ensure that you have read and understood our Fair Use Policy, which forms part of the Business Terms and Conditions and is published by us at 2degreesmobile.co.nz/fairusepolicy.

Business Bonus

  1. The Business Bonus is a discount on the price of a handset or other mobile device which is received on the successful activation of a 24 month term Business Select Plan and can be redeemed at a 2degrees store or a 2degrees retailer.

  2. The Business Bonus is not available on a Business Select Plan on a Freedom Term or for Team Members who are transferring their existing Plan or Service to a new Business Select Plan.

  3. The amount of the Business Bonus available under a Business Select Plan is at all times subject to 2degrees’ discretion and will be notified to you by 2degrees at the time of sign up to your eligible Business Select Plan.

  4. The Business Bonus is not available in conjunction with any other mobile subsidy offered.

Changing your Business Select Plan

  1. Unless stated otherwise, you can change a Business Select Plan or a Business Link Plan to another Plan made available under your Business Account (New Plan) at any time by calling Customer Care.

  2. You may be required to pay a Plan transfer charge if you change to a new Plan. The amount of any Plan transfer charge that you will be required to pay in accordance with these terms and conditions will be published by us on our website from time to time. See our Business Plan ETCs and PTCs Terms & Conditions for more information on Plan transfer charges for Business Select Plans.

  3. Changing a fixed term Business Select Plan to a New Plan will not entitle you to a new Business Bonus.

  4. We may refuse to change a Plan to a New Plan if you have not paid all of the outstanding Charges under your Business Account.

  5. You are not able change a fixed term Business Select Plan to:

    (a) another available Plan on a Freedom Term; or

    (b) Business Link Plan; or

    (c) Business Mobile Data Plan.

Moving from a fixed term Business Select Plan to a Freedom Term Plan, Business Link Plan or a Business Mobile Data Plan will be a termination of that Business Select Plan and you will be required to pay early termination charges.
