Business Broadband price increase – October 2020
From October, Business Broadband prices will be going up by $4 a month for customers who signed up before 1 June 2020.
Over the past 4 years, the costs from our suppliers for us to provide broadband have gone up. This unfortunately means we need to increase our prices in order for us to keep delivering the services that keep your business connected.
We changed the price of our Business Broadband plans on 1 June 2020, so any customers who signed up after then will not have their monthly cost change. If you signed up before 1 June 2020, then your monthly cost from 1 October 2020 will go up by $4 a month.
Yes, if you’re on an old retired plan with us, these plans are changing. You might want to see if our new plans suit your business needs better, you can take a look at our current Business Broadband plans here.
There has been no change to the price of our Rural Broadband plans, so if you’re on either of these plans, you’ll continue paying the same as you are today.
We’d be sad to see you go! But we understand that price increases can be tough, so if you do decide you wish to leave us as a result of this price increase, you are able to do so without incurring early exit fees for 30 days from being notified about the increase, even if you’re still in a contract. You can’t ask for fairer than that, right?
If we’ve set up the automatic payment for you via either Direct Debit or Credit Card payment, then there’s nothing you need to do. We’ll make the change on our end and when the time comes, we’ll automatically deduct the correct amount, including the extra $4.
If you’ve set up an automatic payment yourself with your bank, you’ll need to make sure you update the payment amount to include an extra $4. We aren’t able to do this on your behalf if you’ve set it up separately.
