Hawkins makes switch to 2degrees

Hawkins has joined the growing number of New Zealand businesses that have switched to 2degrees.

The company recently moved its 800-plus connections to 2degrees to deliver on its 3G, 4G and VOIP service needs.

Hawkins CIO Hannes Van Zyl says moving to 2degrees was a logical choice.

“As project managers on some of New Zealand’s largest construction and infrastructure developments, we need reliability and great customer service which we are confident we have with 2degrees. We also wanted to work with a team that was a good fit with ours. Like 2degrees, Hawkins is a challenger brand – we are both hungry, focused on changing the game and we put clients needs front and centre.

“2degrees was able to offer a total team approach to our business and the switchover has been seamless. In addition, 2degrees has also put great reporting systems in place to give us more control over our costs and better visibility throughout the network.”

Todd Scoble, Head of 2degrees’ Business Sales, says 2degrees is thrilled to partner with Hawkins.

“Hawkins is an exciting, fast-paced business that relies on communications technology to deliver great projects. We have developed a very close working partnership together that is already delivering great outcomes for Hawkins and we’re looking forward to being a part of its continuing business success story.”

Mr Scoble says as 2degrees has matured as a total telco network, businesses are increasingly seeing it as a viable option for larger enterprise customers.

“Our business customers really appreciate 2degrees’ fresh approach and great service which is why we’re continuing to attract some really exciting businesses of all sizes.”

Other business to join 2degrees recently include Lewis Road Cremery, JUCY Rentals, Whittakers and ecostore.
