How to top up with a credit card.It’s easy to top up with a credit or debit card either online or by calling 201 from your 2degrees mobile. Just call, or log in and follow the simple instructions. You can also register your card online so it’s even easier to top up next time. You can only access a registered credit card by entering your personal 2degrees PIN or your 2degrees online password. However, if your phone is lost or stolen, it’s a smart idea to unregister your credit card and start again. You can top up any whole dollar amount between $20 and $100, and the maximum daily top up amount per credit card is $100. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club and American Express How to top up with a voucher.You can buy $20, $30, $40, $50, $60, $70, $80, $90 or $100 top up vouchers anywhere you see our big blue logo. Then there are three ways to use your voucher:
Charges for calling or texting 201.If you are within New Zealand, there are no charges for calling or Texting 201. If you are roaming overseas, then standard roaming charges will apply.
When to top up.You can do it any time. But we’ll let you know when your balance is getting low. And remember, every time you top up we give you extra stuff to use for a whole 30 days. Where to top up.You can top up online with Your 2degrees or you can buy a top up voucher anywhere you see our big blue 2. Credit expiry.Your credit lasts for 365 days before it expires. So that's a whole year to use it. If you don’t top up within 365 days your account will be deactivated and you will lose any unused credit. Top Up and get even more value.When you top up with a credit card or Visa debit card, your Top Up will be rounded down to the nearest whole $10. So, if you top up $35 you'll get a $30 Top Up reward. Your Top Up rewards last for 30 days from the day that you top up. We'll send you a text when your 30 days is nearly up so you'll always know exactly where you stand. If you top up mid way through your 30 days, your first lot of Top Up rewards run out 30 days after your first top up. But we'll only send you a reminder when your last lot of rewards is about to run out. You can only use the free reward texts that you get with your Top Up to text other New Zealand mobiles. Texts sent to overseas networks will be charged at normal rates. The special 2c text rate is only for texts to other 2degrees mobiles. The special 22c a minute call rate is only for calls to other 2degrees mobiles and to landlines in New Zealand. It also applies to landlines in these countries. So it does not work for premium rate numbers, non-geographic numbers and any other special service numbers that may be available in those countries. You can still call these numbers, you just won't get the 22c per minute rate.
