Understanding roaming chargesIt's easy to use your 2degrees mobile when you are overseas. Everything you need to know is right here. If you use your mobile when you're abroad you'll pay $1 per minute to receive calls. The good news is that there's no extra charge to receive texts. You don't need to do anything special, just turn your phone on when you hop off the plane. When you make a call, you'll pay the rate shown in the table opposite. And it doesn't matter who or where you're calling, the same rate applies. Unfortunately you can't use the free stuff from your Magic Top up while you are overseas. You can only use that at home. Calling customer care or your voicemail while abroad is charged like any other international call on a per-minute basis. Using data overseasYou can use data while you are overseas but it is a bit pricey. It costs $30/MB and is charged in 5KB increments with a minimum charge of 15c. Our advice, steer clear of the data! It's easy to top up from overseas. Before you go overseas it’s a good idea to top up with plenty of credit to see you through your trip. But if you need to top up abroad, you can either top up online with your credit card through 'Your 2degrees', or call +64 22 2002000 to do it over the phone. Roaming calls to this number will be charged as per the rates shown in the table. A note about overseas networksWhen you roam overseas, you use networks that aren’t controlled by 2degrees. While we expect those networks to provide a quality service, we can’t be responsible if there are performance or other issues. Call charges are per minute or part minute. Text charges are per text.
