| From 1 November 2009, it’s illegal to use a handheld mobile while driving. That means no texting, talking, taking pics or checking your emails while you’re behind the wheel. The new law only allows you to make and receive a call if you are using a handsfree kit, or if your mobile is totally voice activated. 2degrees backs the changes to our road rules completely, it’s a small yet significant step in keeping our roads safer. For greater safety we suggest that you turn your mobile off and collect your messages when you’ve stopped driving.
