2degrees has an ongoing need for people who can deliver quality customer service and provide the increasingly technical delivery of service via its networks and IT systems. Young M¿ori seeking an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the ICT industry have the opportunity to learn while working via the 2degrees Structured Careers Programme.

Structured careers at 2degrees begin in Customer Care, where employees get to play their part in delivering the company’s highly awarded customer service. Once employees have shown a passion for the customer, they will have on-the-job opportunities to study towards ICT qualifications.

Employees who are customer focused, know the business and know the technology will then have the opportunity to progress to roles in the IT and Networks teams, where they will deal hands-on with the latest mobile technology and systems.

Employees in the 2degrees Structured Careers Programme will also participate in the Accelerating Aotearoa’s Talent programme, acting as role models for younger M¿ori considering a future in the telecommunications industry.
