The extra value when you top up is valid for 30 days from the date of top up.

Some things you should know.All voice minutes are rounded up to the nearest minute. You can't use the free texts you get with your Top Up reward to text people overseas. They can only be used to text people in New Zealand. Top Up rewards are valid for 30 days from the date you top up. After 30 days your calls will go back to our standard rates (which are as cheap as chips anyway). Any unused free texts will disappear. The special Top Up reward rates only apply to calls using your 2degrees mobile in New Zealand. The countries in the table to the left all have more than one mobile phone network. You can call all of these networks, but some of them are yet to join up their bits to receive text messages from 2degrees or to send texts to 2degrees. Here's a list of networks that we know are all connected for texting. We're constantly working to extend this list.
